"Should ever shall we be pushed into the grave of despair, we shall not vanish alone, for our beloved treasure will follow us to the darkest abyss..." -Lord Paleskin of the Necropolis
The Necropolis
Of all the Elusive Magick that that whispers inside the cold bodies of the wretched beings of hunger, none is more massive and protective than the floating energies that connect the grand Necropolis to the splendid black ground which empowers it's solid foundations.
Not any poor soul who searches for the sight pleasing construct of immortality finds the eternal destination, many of them having reached spiritual collapse while still being derived from right path by the trickster magick with ease and elegance.
The Necropolis was raised from the putrid ground with the bare will of the souls who came with the first and only Ghostship that found it's way through the Inner Maelström, allowing them to quickly find the great source of energy that could mantain their existence in those barren and harsh lands where Life and Death relentlessly fight for existence. With great astonishment has the Elusive Magick watched them how they used to the last amount of spiritual strength they were blessed with. This act of pure and undeniable strength quickly gained them the magick's favor, who installed herself slowly under the watchful eye of Lady Night.
These people, possesing no knowledge about the Necromancer and all that resided outside of the dead walls they carved with their own dead skin, hid and isolated their scarred existence from the outsiders. Not short of rare have been the cases in which an outsider reached the Necropolis, but not unheard of inside the grand and foul residence. Their hidden archives posses the secret visions of the ones who set foot on the black path. Not one of them has been heard of being thrown into exile and imminent spiritual collapse as the lords of the land do know that everyone who finds them is favored by their protective magick...
